30-Day Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not happy with your engine for any reason, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund, subject to the conditions below.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return:
- Unused Condition: Engine must be in the same condition as received, not installed or modified
- Original Packaging: Must be returned in original crate with all included materials
- All Accessories: Include all gaskets, hardware, and documentation
- No Damage: Engine must not show signs of installation attempts or damage
- Authorization Required: Contact us before shipping to receive Return Authorization number
Refund Process
- Contact us at (908) 395-0621 or sales@jdgmotors.com to initiate return
- Receive Return Authorization (RA) number and return shipping instructions
- Properly package engine in original crate
- Ship to our facility using a traceable method
- Once received and inspected, refund will be processed within 5-7 business days
Refund Amount: Original purchase price minus 15% restocking fee and original shipping costs. Return shipping is customer’s responsibility.
Warranty Returns
If an engine develops a mechanical issue covered under warranty, different terms apply:
- No restocking fee for warranty-covered defects
- We may cover return shipping for verified defects
- Option for repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion
- Diagnostic documentation may be required
Warranty does not cover improper installation, misuse, or normal wear and tear. See individual product pages for specific warranty terms.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Engines that have been installed or show evidence of installation attempts
- Engines with tampered seals or modified components
- Special order or custom-built engines (clearly marked as such)
- Items purchased “as-is” for parts or rebuild projects
Exchange Policy
If you ordered the wrong engine for your application, we’re happy to help you exchange it for the correct one within 30 days. Exchange fees and shipping costs apply. Contact us to discuss options before returning.
Damaged in Shipping
If your engine arrives damaged:
- Note damage on delivery receipt while carrier is present
- Take photos of all damage
- Contact us immediately – don’t ship back without authorization
- Keep all packaging materials
We will work with you and the freight carrier to resolve shipping damage at no cost to you.
